Who we are
Vaakio ("we", "us") provides email marketing, forms, automation, and analytics software. This policy covers www.vaakio.com and the Vaakio application at app.vaakio.com. For privacy questions, email privacy@vaakio.com.
What we collect
- Account data — name, work email, company, and billing details you provide when you sign up.
- Contact data you import — subscriber records you upload to send campaigns. You are the controller of this data; we process it on your behalf.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and device/browser information, collected to operate and improve the service.
- Cookies — a small number of essential cookies for sign-in and security. We do not use advertising cookies on this site.
How we use it
To provide and secure the service, process payments, respond to support requests, send service notices, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
Sharing
We share data only with sub-processors that help us run Vaakio (hosting, payments, email delivery, error monitoring), each under a data-processing agreement, and where required by law.
Retention
Account data is kept for the life of your account and up to 90 days after closure, unless a longer period is legally required. Imported contact data is deleted on request or when you delete it in-app.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data, or object to certain processing. Email privacy@vaakio.com and we will respond within the time allowed by applicable law (generally 30 to 45 days).
International transfers
Where data is transferred outside your region, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Changes
We will post any changes to this page and update the date above. Material changes will be notified by email to account holders.
